We have over 30 years experience as professional videographers

 

 

 

Approximately how many events have you videotaped?

 

Well over fifteen hundred. Our services were extended to over 70 brides last year.

 

 

 

Are you the person who will video tape my wedding?

 

At least one person from our family team (Al, Wendy, Jason, or Van) will be in charge of your coverage.

We do not subcontract any of our jobs.

 

 

 

Will you bring an assistant with you to my wedding?

 

There will be at least two camera operators at every ceremony so that we can capture all of the planned (as well as the unexpected) moments

 

 

 

What type of equipment do you use?

 

We use Sony 3-chip digital (low light) cameras on tripods.

Some cameras may be held freehand when necessary.

 

 

 

Do you use wireless microphones?

 

We use Audio-Technica wireless microphones to catch your wedding vows in crystal-clear clarity.

In most instances the microphone is clipped to the groom, however, use of the microphone is optional.

 

 

 

What format do you use?

 

We film everything in high quality DV (digital Video).

 

 

 

Do you edit the tape after the event?

 

All footage is edited into a MASTER DVD with seamless edits and beautiful music. The DVD will be divided into chapters for easy navigation throughout your DVD.

 

 

 

Can I pick my own music?

 

The Wedding Couple is encouraged to pick their own music prior to their wedding day.

However, we can pick the music that reflects the desired mood.

 

 

 

Can you include our "baby pictures" or engagement photos set to music on our video?

 

25 – 30 "baby pictures" or pictures of the bride and groom during their dating years is set to music at the beginning of the video.

However, pictures must be delivered or mailed prior to the Wedding Day to be included on the Wedding Video or DVD.

Late picture arrivals will result in the photo-montage to be produced separately from the Wedding Video or DVD.

This option may not be available in all packages.

 

 

 

When will I receive the final product?

 

The final production will usually be available in 3 to 6 weeks.

 

 

 

What is your deposit policy?

 

We require a non-returnable security deposit of only $100.00 dollars at booking.

Half of the remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the ceremony.

The remaining balance is due on completion.

 

 

 

Do you charge extra for out of town weddings?

 

Weddings outside of 20 miles from downtown New Orleans are charged a nominal travel charge.

Distances beyond 50 miles must be discussed prior to booking.

 

 

 

Will a downtown wedding cost me extra?

 

We charge a nominal fee of $20.00 for downtown, CBD, and French Quarter Weddings.

It is not unusual for the parking lots to fill-up with guest prior to our arrival and requires us to park blocks from the wedding or reception.

Some major hotels will offer complementary parking for vendors. In such a case where complementary parking is available, we will not charge.

 

 

 

Why should I use multiple camera shoots?

 

Many Churches restrict movement during the ceremony. Multiple cameras allow for complete coverage will less movement. The cameras are positioned for the best angles and are not intrusive.
